Ingredients

  • Chocolate (200g): Milk, dark, or white chocolate, broken into pieces.
  • Butter (50g): Adds creamy richness to the mixture.
  • Golden Syrup (2 tablespoons, optional): Adds sweetness and helps bind the mixture.
  • Cereal (100g): Cornflakes, Rice Krispies, or Shredded Wheat.
  • Mini Chocolate Eggs (About 36): For decorating the nests.
  • Sprinkles (Optional): For a festive touch.

Instructions

  • Melt chocolate and butter in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 20 seconds until smooth.
  • Add golden syrup (if using) and mix well.
  • Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the cereal and stir until well-coated.
  • Line a muffin tin with cupcake cases and spoon the mixture evenly into each case.
  • Use the back of a spoon to create an indentation in the center of each nest.
  • Place mini chocolate eggs on top and add sprinkles if desired.
  • Chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour until set.
